Immunofluorescence is used in almost all aspects of biology and is widely used in research and clinical diagnostics applications, including the evaluation of cells in suspension, cultured cells, tissue, beads and microarrays for the detection of specific proteins.
In Immunofluorescence, antibodies are chemically labelled using fluorescent dyes and these antibodies then bind, either directly or indirectly to the antigen of interest.
The antigen can then be detected using fluorescence and visualised using confocal microscopy.
The Nikon Eclipse Ti-E inverted microscope has been designed for the most advanced live cell imaging applications including TIRF, confocal imaging, FRET, photo activation and microinjection.
The high speed motorised nosepiece, fluorescence filters and microscope stage allow for high throughput screening during multi-dimensional experiments, whilst the automatic focus correction system continuously corrects for any drift during long duration time-lapse imaging.
The PCO Edge 5.5 is an extremely compact 16 bit camera which is equipped with a scientific CMOS sensor and is ideally suited for measuring images at high resolution and high frame rates.

The Aurox Visionary software has been specially developed for the acquisition of live cell imaging data using the Aurox Clarity LFC unit as part of a laser free confocal microscopy system.
Designed with simplicity and ease of use at its core, the software provides a single graphical user interface, which relates device and experimental settings directly to the connected instrument hardware.
The Visionary software provides for the optimisation and control of the instrument set-up and calibration followed by the set-up and image acquisition control of the confocal microscopy experiment.
Key features of the software:
|Working Distance (mm)||0.13|
Aurox offer service and support contracts to cover all Aurox Clarity confocal microscopy systems.
Service contracts can be purchased in 1 year or up to 5 year intervals.
